Effective August 18, 2014, the 1904 World's Fair Charitable Foundation took over the operations of the St. Louis Ambassadors, which gave our charity birth on March 14, 2002 at the Top of the Chase Hotel with over 900 people in attendance. Launching the effort was Governor Bob Holden, St. Louis City Mayor Francis Slay,  St. Louis County Executive "Buzz" Westfall, Archbishop Rigali, TV 4 News Anchors Julius Hunter & Vickie Newton with Frank Ferrara, President of the Saint Louis Ambassadors, as the Keynote Speaker. As part of the ceremony a Missouri Proclamation was read by the Governor appointing Cicardi A. Bruce as Chairman and Richard T. Pisani as President.

This not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) is an all-volunteer, grassroots and diverse  group of individuals from all walks of life that was established to host and co-host celebratory events in Forest Park to salute our forefathers and the 100 year anniversary of the 1904 World's Fair & III Olympics throughout the year 2004.

Our mission continues today to raise the necessary funds for the Forest Park 'Beautification Program,' the St. Louis Zoo and other local charities.
